Cris received a Master of Science degree in Occupational & Environmental Hygiene from the School of Environmental Health at the University of British Columbia in 2010. His research focused on the reduction of exposure to cytotoxic drugs in health care. Previously, Cris completed his Bachelor of Science, with a Major in Chemistry, at the Simon Fraser University.

Currently, Cris is an Occupational Health & Safety Specialist with BC Hydro.

Previously, he was the Industrial Hygienist at the School of Environmental Health. His work included hygiene consultations, as well as analytical method development, and training.
